A Vocational Assessment is a structured, evidence-based evaluation that examines an individual’s abilities, interests, transferable skills, and functional limitations to determine suitable employment options and/or vocational rehabilitation pathways. As a Canadian Certified Vocational Evaluator (CCVE), I apply recognized methodologies such as VRAM (Vocational Rehabilitation Assessment Model) and RAPEL (Rehabilitation, Assessment, Preparation, Employment, and Life Skills) to integrate medical, psychological, educational, and functional information with Canadian labour market data. This approach ensures that recommended employment goals and vocational pathways are realistic, achievable, and congruent with the current labour market. The process includes standardized vocational measures, transferable skills analysis, and consideration of workplace demands, resulting in clear recommendations that support return-to-work planning, career redirection, and rehabilitation or legal decision-making.
