Functional Vocational Assessment in Historical Sexual Assault

A Functional/Vocational Assessment provides objective, trauma-informed evaluation of how past trauma affects work capacity, daily functioning, and rehabilitation needs.

Functional Vocational Assessment

Comprehensive Trauma-Informed Functional and Vocational Assessment

Functional and vocational assessments in historical sexual assault cases evaluate the impact of trauma on an individual’s ability to work and manage daily activities. Using a trauma-informed approach, I prioritize safety, respect, and empowerment throughout the process. With my designations as a Certified Work Capacity Evaluator (CWCE) and Canadian Certified Vocational Evaluator (CCVE), I combine standardized testing, functional observation, cognitive and vocational evaluation, and contextual consideration of experiences to provide objective, evidence-based information. I document physical, cognitive, and psychological limitations, as well as strengths and employment possibilities, to support rehabilitation planning and access to appropriate resources while maintaining the dignity and autonomy of the person being evaluated.
